The sleep gods finally smiled on us last night, and so I was able to get up early today to exercise. I did about 40 minutes on the bike trainer and 10 of stretching/abs. Steve worked out at the gym on his lunch hour, doing weights and conditioning exercises.
S-J and Bill are continuing to put in their time, too (although rumor has it that Bill skipped a day already - he has yet to confirm or deny). Yesterday, S-J walked on the treadmill for 22 minutes, then did an hour-long workout with a personal trainer at the Y. She felt very buff! Today, she worked out at the Y again, while Milo played in the kids' area there.
OK, so i climbed at the gym for 45 minutes in the a.m., then went back and lifted weights for 45 in the afternoon... today will be the challenge - don't want to run, would like to sit on a bike, too windy outside... hmmmm....

You need a bike trainer, Fishie!

This is the first day I'm posting, but we've been doing our workouts! Great idea! I'm STILL sore from Monday's basement circuit training workout. Man. Yesterday, I biked on the trainer for 35 minutes and walked fast/ran after one child on a scooter while pushing a stroller for about 20 minutes. Today, I swam for 1/2 hour. Jeff did the circuit workout with me Monday, ran 5 miles yesterday, and is about to get on the tready for a half hour workout tonight.

I'm posting when I can! Tuesday, I was on the elliptical for 30 mins. Yesterday I met my trainer for a 30-min strength workout. We worked on chest and arms, and a few obliques/abs exercises. Because of all of the wind and rain in the ATL, the kids and I did some "play" with picking up all of the branches from our birch tree that had fallen down. That makes for lots of back and forth - even Ryan got into the playtime! Today will be a challenge, but I'm hoping to get a walk in after getting the kids from school and before your parents get in town. Thanks for keeping all of us accountable!
