I couldn't drag myself out of bed to exercise this morning, but Milo and I went for a nice long walk after work. We walked for about 40 minutes, then our last ten minutes' worth took another half-hour, as Milo decided he wanted to get out of his stroller and walk himself. That, of course, meant walking, jumping, picking up rocks, sniffing flowers, feeling leaves, and pushing the stroller himself, so it took a while. I was happy to have gotten in my work-out and to be able to slow down and (literally!) smell the flowers, toddler style.
Steve used our absence to tear out tile from the kitchen floor, exhausting, back-breaking work that surely qualifies as his daily dose. After we got Milo to bed, we spent another hour breaking down the drywall and wood scraps that were still piled outside the house - more hard labor!
Whew. You guys are moving along on the kitchen. I love the color! This morning, I swam for 40 minutes and walked for 40 minutes in the beautiful, early light - yay, sun.
