Monday morning, I went for a run. I ran for 30 minutes and did sprint intervals, 30-45 seconds on and 20-30 seconds off, for the last 7 minutes. Great workout, though short. Steve had planned to ride, but was derailed by a day of kitchen craziness.
Tuesday, Steve's workout time was once again eaten up by the kitchen, but hopefully for the last time. I spent about 90 minutes doing abs, pushups, shoulder exercises, lunges, and stretches, while Steve and our contractor friend got everything working in the kitchen.
Today, Steve finally had some time to play! He went climbing after work, a good long evening on the rocks. Milo and I went for a 45-minute walk around the lake and through the neighborhood.
I really, really, really need to get into triathlon training mode already.
Sigh. Not my best week of exercise so far....Tuesday, I biked for an hour and included some hill repeats, Wednesday, I did 30 minutes of crunches, pullups, situps, lunges, dips, chinups. Tonight, I ran for 30 minutes at the gym. Was going to climb on the gym climbing wall, too, but it was closed. Grrr.
